i think im in the good forum to ask for a map, there one game called special elite force who is a very popular game, but only 1 thing it is always the same map idk if its possible or not but maybe someone can make this same map with a menu for all player before the game start in with the player will be able to choose a map like 3 different map or something like this and the opponent betwen the 3 race terran protos and zerg who is already there !
i dont know if this is possible or not im just asking im not a map maker,im not a pro in computhing !! im just taking a chance by asking
@Grimsrock: Go Welcome to SC2Mapster! You will find lots of interesting stuff lying around...
Maybe you should contact the creator of the Special Elite Force map. I can already tell you it's not possible to select different maps in game like you want, there are several issues, but Its possible to publish different maps with the same game system. But go on and tell the creator your ideas, because all mappers need feedback to improve their maps.
@Neonsz: Go Yes, like bomberbot as one example. But in general it isn't. And its never possible to have fully different maps that use different textures, like Cinder Fortress and Agria Valley in the same map. I never player the maps he wants modified so I don't know if this is the case.
It can't be set up like in Hero Attack, where there are 4 maps or so to choose from, since SF:E uses a 256x256 map. It may seem that games with "map choosing" have multiple maps, but they don't. The mapper simply makes multiple terrains in a large space and uses camera bounds to make it appear as if there are several maps. This is impossible in games such as Special Forces: Elite and Island Defense, since they cannot have any more space.

Good luck!
@SoulFilcher: Go
If the map is small enough and has few textures, or some of them reused, it should be possible with camera bounds ?
