We definitely need more of these... and actually, there is a channel on Youtube about kids reacting to various internet memes (and teens reacting about trailers and such) right here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheFineBros?feature=watch
It's not about Starcraft 2 but it's still funny. I guess your video is strongly inspired by them.
I also know of a few videos about seniors trying to identify consoles, pads, mobile phones, computer mouse and such (and guess what it's used for), but it's in French though... The same was done with kids trying to guess how old console games cartridges, floppy disks, or even vinyls were used:
Personally I don't like sports really... for example I don't understand football or icehockey really. (OK, well world championships of icehockey is exception) I bet these people who hate Starcraft (or all video games?) still like "stupid" games such as football.
The whole thing was funny, but the icing on the cake was "Do you think esports should just be called sports?" And the lady responds "Yeah, at least on the wii".
xD
Lady, you just made my day.

... *oh old people* and their preconceived hatred of video-games...!
It's not only seniors, unfortunately... How many times it happened to me to talk to a girl in a bar, and when she asks what I do for a living:
"-I'm a level designer.
-Like an architect?
-No, I build levels in video games.
-Oh, you're a programmer then! (<- my personal favorite... or not!)
-I just design them in 3D, I barely have any skill in programming.
-But you're a geek, right?"

You're a digital design artist, creating 3d environments for real-time computer simulations.

Lady, you just made my day.
I thought it was funny when she thought Video Games stunned your growth. ahaha :P
p.s I love protons too.
good one :)
showed the pure sc2 to my mother, went a similar way
@Aphex_: Go
I think that person's brain growth was stunted.
What the video didnt tell you, is 2 outta 6 seniors pooped their diapers....
@Taintedwisp: Go
its looks like they were trying to blow each other up - old lady all the things they said made me laugh lmao
Haha the guy asked "Does anyone here have a life?" Meanwhile he probably goes back to watching TV on the couch...

...and the rest of the conversation is pretty much all about "I don't like games, games are evil, so I don't like you". Sometimes people are a little more understanding about video games (usually when they are players themselves, basically they know it's not always about "having a gun and shooting people"), but overall it never leads anywhere hence the lack of social life. As soon as you work anywhere near a computer, you're considered a geek. The cliché of a geek is very damaging, if not pejorative, people are not always as direct as seniors but you can tell they have exactly the same criticisms in mind.
@ZealNaga: Go
You could just find people to socialize with who aren't total morons that walk in to complete stereotypes of things they don't understand, though :D
I always wonder if, when I get old, my generation will also have an irrational hatred of something that young people of the future find fun.
I hope so.
Gay sex with aliens it will probably be.
I agree.
-On topic: I love that video

"When you play starcraft online, you have to make a name that other people know you by. What name would be your starcraft name?"
"I hate you all"
