Lately, I get more and more Error: 404 messages when trying to edit my own threads. I did not find a "report forum bugs" part, so I will just write here.
There is a "Site issues" button..at the very top of every page,... buy in all honesty I dont think itll do you much good. This is one of the few problems I have never gotten kueken531, what web browser are you using and what version?

Can you try and see if the bug occurs on... *shivvers* Internet Explorer? Or, if you're willing to take the effort, Chrome? I used Firefox for a long time myself, until it started spazzing and bugging out on a daily basis. When even a full computer reinstall didn't solve this problem I just went with Chrome, which has worked pretty much fine for me for half a year or so now, barring some tiny bugs.
Oh, wow, did never see that button, or that part of the forum o_o
Using Mozilla Firefox v3.6.16
I had this bug earlier as well, but very frequently lately.
Usually, the error appears when trying to edit a thread immediately (within 5 minutes of creation).
when you say "edit thread" I take it you mean the "main" edit button (top right) that can edit the title and polls?
and I use crhome, never had this problem, ill make a few dummy threads and try this myself.

oh, yeah, are you using default theme? that doesn't mess with the php.. but might as well get all the info.
Im double posting here -gasp- just to make sure people who have already read this see a new post.
has anyone else had this issue? we havnt heard of this issue from anyone else yet...and not able to replicate it. so please post if you have this issue as well.

Yes! I have had this but some time ago (1 month, maybe?) then again I don't edit my posts much. I tried to delete an attachment, but if I recall it wouldn't let me edit any part of the post after that. After trying 4-8 times, it let me.
Haven't got it since, but as I said before: I don't edit posts (much less ones with attachments) very often.
Oh, and I use Opera - though I think I tried it in firefox to at least, with no success.
This is strange indeed. I use chrome and have never had this problem. I don't think its because I'm a moderator, either....since I only recently got promoted and never had the issue for the year or so that I've been using the site.

Anyone else has similar problems?

firefow is great but seems to uncover more and more bugs (from both sides probably) with a growing number of different sites :(

@Mozared: Go
I could try.
Apparently, both edits have the problem.

This was for deleting an attachment in a post of mine.
xD, even that page links to the site issues forum. I am indeed blind.

Yep, default theme. Tested with IE, got the same issue.
I edit my posts a lot, because I re-read them right after posting for typos, and I usually find some ;)
I do the same, almost all my longer posts have like two edits to them within the first 3 mins
@Molsterr: Go Having this problem again, when I try to edit a picture attached to my post.
I never get it any other time, so I think its the cause. (Trying to click "edit" on a picture - though I can't edit the post regularly either now)
