Support for 3D vision!!!!! I assume that means less lag with the 3rd person view. I also saw something about chat channels being added in the future and of course allot of balancing work across the 3 races.Edit: Nvm I know what they mean by the support of 3D vision now.

?? where did you see support for 3D vision. And I think that would mean, 3D vision as in with your eyes. Like wow is with the 3d nvida card. Tho I dont see where this was said.

This news pleases me, I wait in hope that they will be providing map makers with even better tools to fulfill our purposes. (GIVE US <= 125ms player lag!!!)
3D Vision is Nvidia 3D Vision yes, its allready supported but now you get some sliders for depth and convergence etc.
And lag it server side, they don't need a patch for that.
Anyway, from what I know the trigger part of the editor is going to get improved. Don't really know how though. Probably a lot of bug fixes and small improvement coming along too :)
just fix the damn custom game system! Only good thing about the system is that you can invite people (wc3 you had to type the games name) and thats it!
I think they only did for larger changes, no?
E.g. "Yo guyz we got you some awesome data tables and a handle Id native D:"
And maybe a "Several small bug fixes done on the editor."
Probably something along the lines of "Adding functionality ABC in the trigger editor" and "Fixed several bug with publishing map" and "Fixed several bugs with editing map"
Generally not. Some patches totally fucked with our maps, but that shouldn't happen anymore.
It doesn't override your changes tho.
I'm not sure whether it'll update default values or whether it "remembers" what map version you started the map in..

Yeah it's probably support for 3d video card/monitor/glasses combo etc.
And yes there will be some editor stuff as they said a while back. Can't wait!
It was announced a while ago.

Neah, I think 3d vision will make my eyes hurt and give me sea sickness:/
If only they mentioned editor changes..

Have they ever...? I think they want us to have fun figuring out what they changed/fixed/added/removed/broke/ignored.

Warcraft 3 patches I think always stated any editor changes. If I remember correctly.

That's all we gonna know.
Does anyone remember how beta patch changes affected the data in existing maps? Like will their patch override changes you've made to units?

Possible but not probable. Retail screwed up almost all Beta maps. During Beta, I dont recall patches doing any damage to maps..
My birthday is on the 21st =D
