I know its probably a really noobish thing to ask, but I'm sick of googling and not finding an answer to this question.
If I submit a map to the EU realm, can US players play it? Vice-versa?
Based on my understanding so far, I'm assuming that the answer is "Yes" but since the map would not be popular on the US realms, there'd be nobody to play with (...Stupid custom map join system). Am I spot on?
I submitted a map here. Where do I select the region for my map? (I'm in EU)
Submitting a map on mapster (I suppose here is mapster) does not do anything. You have to publish it through Battle.net (In your Editor: Publish) in order for your map to be played. Then it'll be tied to the region you are in, EU in this case.
I heard Blizzard is going to do something about cross-realms, is this true?
Yes. From Bashiok in late August on the SC2 forums:

Right now we have a plan to implement an in-game region selection option, and our SEA/ANZ region will be getting NA access soon. So I think it'll be interesting to see how that pans out, and into the future.
Sorry Vjeux, I wasn't very clear.
I meant under my project's information, is there a specific place to mention the published realm? Like how I can select the map's category, localization, etc...
Currently I just included that info in my project description, I was just wondering if there's a better place for that on the site.
And its really great that Blizzard will be enabling cross-realm! I have a lot of friends in the US that I can't wait to play with :D

Nope, you will need to give your map to someone on the other realm to upload it.
@Molsterr: Go
Well that's... disappointing.
I have 2 more questions, if you don't mind me asking:
Thanks!
Not from what I'm aware of.
