That's no reason to give up your privacy. We're not all morons that can make blanket statements like that with a straight face. It is much worse for people that have a unique name and can't blend in with 10+ others with the same name in google results.
The thing is you're not going to know when someone passes you over because they found something in google. How are you going to sue someone that never calls you back? Dumb.

Then don't say stupid stuff on the internet to get you passed over in the first place?

So following that logic you'd be OK with ..say.. the government monitoring you leave your house to make sure you don't do anything illegal?
I mean, as long as you don't do anything stupid it shouldn't inflict you negatively.
Sounds like a totally different topic - still it's comparable.

Honestly, wire tapping and the like doesn't bother me. What are they going to catch me doing, calling my drug dealer? Oh wait, I don't have a drug dealer and if I did I certainly wouldn't call them and be obvious about it...
Government monitoring your every move is different, so cut the strawman arguments. Following my logic, I wouldn't mind if everything I said on the internet or on a bathroom wall or something weird like that has my name on it, which I don't. (Which extends to phone calls and inherently to wire-tapping)
its not a big deal, i use my real name online. . . but thats just cuz i legally changed my name to match my online name hehe

Did someone say i have the ability to predict the future? No? Then I must congratulate myself.
Congrats. Now, how about some lottery predictions next? ^.^

It's comforting that Blizzard still listens to their community.
