My map crashes for players who are on Mac OS X. It happens right when they hit the "start game" button (i.e. doesn't even make it to loadscreen). Windows users are just fine with no crashing. Please help!
You should try to isolate the problem to see which is causing the crash. Test map with terrain only, removed custom assets, map withs no trigger etc... It seems highly likely that a custom scripted code might cause that.
I only have a PC but my local library has macs of all types for use.
i will see if i can use one to help you.
i am at GMT + 10.

Hope you can fix it.
That would be great. Please let me know if the library computers will work out. I'm on NA, but we have a SEA guy who is quite active and also in Australia.

Any progress? still up for testing/newbhelping :)
The problem is that we don't know what is causing it. Nothing to test until we know where to start fixing.
still, more testers < less tester
just saying.. i totally understand if the old pig head doesn't seem that useful/trustworthy
good luck :)
Anyone have any ideas given the crash log?
If I know anything. KERN = Kernel
And anything having to do with kernel is BAD.

Just icons, minimap image, and loadscreen. There is a model too though (mapster logo). Interesting...and annoying at the same time!
I still haven't isolated this problem so a mighty bump is in order.

Problem is that I don't have a reliable person with Mac OS X available for frequent testing.
