I have Ultralisks on my map set up to be hostile(player15). I've spent a few hours messing with triggers trying to get them to attack once attacked by a player. I also need them to leash if they are pulled too far.
I can only get them to attack if by attacking with a small unit(zergling) directly in front of them.
It's really ugly at this point as this is my first map. Going to be a King of the Hill Where you can level up off of player deaths/neutral creep kills.
hey deathtorn thanks for the tip i got tha triggers figured out with a small issue... how do i specify what unit i want to enter the region in order to trigger the actions... it starts out with "any unit" and ive gone thru the list trying to find something that made sense for it to be replaced by but i cudnt figure it out.. i know you can choose a unit thats already on the map when you click on "any unit" and go to the value tab... but in this case you dont start with the unit required to trigger the action... i hope u can help me out thanks again...

i think you could try have it so when your unit is created set it into an array or a variable of some kind and use it in a if statement within the event

i want to make my inron marines fly mode from viking to be timed and after expired time,
he should go back to normal mode. i know there is a bether way to do it on data way but i dont know how to do it
so maybe its easyer to do it in triggers coz actually i have a little knowledge from triggers, bot much but it is something.
i just dont know what i have to do exactly
allso i got a problem with showing the background even with settet camers right, maybe it possible to do it with triggers too

There's two ways that you can do this, both using conditions.
Either you chose a specific unit type(any unit of that type), or you chose a specific unit.
If you want to chose any unit of that type you add this to the conditions of your trigger.
Event: Any Unit enters Region
Conditions: Unit type of (Triggering Unit) == (Firebat)
This will only trigger if a firebat walks into the zone, and not if a siege tank, or anything other than a firebat does.
As for checking a specific unit.
Event: Any Unit enters Region
Conditions: (Triggering Unit) == (Firebat 81.0,23.0,45.0)
This will only trigger if the specified unit enters the zone, and nothing else, event other firebats.

I need the 2 ultra's on the side of the map to leash once they leave the regions i have setup ultra leash 1/2. Also when they die I would like them to respawn after 45 seconds which I current am doing in a really ghetto way.
I copied the Ultralisk unit and named one Ultra and One Lisk. That way i can get it to respawn using a simple trigger say unit dies = ultra respawn after 45 seconds and vice versa for the lisk unit. I'm guessing there is a way to do this by attaching a unit to a region but after looking for some time I can't get it to work.

2. The unit is shown.
3. The unit moves to point B.

It sounds really simple but i cant make it :) I can do this EXEPT point 5 and 7.
I have been looking for a way to limit a hero's ability points to gaining one every 5 levels, but when I finally found one on a help web site I could not find the trigger that It said I need in the list of actions in the trigger editor. This is the trigger I'm looking for "Modify (Leveling hero) skill points - Set to 0 skill points." Plz help I will not be able to continue without this trigger.
Ps. My map is actuallya remake of the old marvel hero's rpg from brood war but with fully customizible hero's like in league of legends
Ive gone through conditions before assuming unit types might be something it deals with... and i just checked again after reading your msg but with no luck figuring out how you change the unit value from "1" to "firebat"...

if you have 2 seconds to write up the trigger on a blank map and send it to me so i can c how you got there I'd appreciate it... this problem actually keeps comin up for me because a few of the triggers i was working with were unit specific and i havnt been able to figure it out... so ur a huge help right now.... anyways thanks again i appreciate it...
Could you help me troubleshoot this? I'm getting "Trigger Error in 'gt_Bunkers_Func': Parameter out of bounds in 'sUniteCreate' (value:-1, min: 0, max: 15)"
Before, it would spawn the Marine and load him into the Bunker correctly, now I get that error and the Marine doesn't spawn. I haven't changed the trigger or the Marine/Bunker. The only things that I can think of that might have done anything are that I added some pathing blockers (then removed them because I realized they wouldn't work for what I wanted to do) and changed the SCV's build ability to not require the SCV to sit there.

@Jinxxx123: Go I need the map, but I think there's a setting for data, which lets you limit how many times a unit can receive a buff.

It's not trigger related, it's actually because you gave your ultralisk building footprints, by setting it's footprints it's considered a building.

Thanks, I set that up really early and forgot about that. At the time I thought it may make the creep roam in a 1x1 pattern.
