i want a message posted up for everyone to see it while in the game. im not to sure how to get the actions correct for it to show up.
    Events
        Game - Map initialization
    Local Variables
    Conditions
    Actions<----????

Permenently or just for a bit in the beginning? if permenent then do "text message" action

just like a chat, it appears then fades. like 2 people are talking.

Just create cinematic text, then wait 1 second then hide cinematic text. Lol, that's what I do.

hmmm? actions~ cinematic mode, fade in/out, golbal cinematic setting, movei add sub tital (text), movei add trigger function, movie dynamic subtitles and duration, movie stop recording, overlay image, run cinematic, select main shadow light, stop cinematic...

what ones does it take? LOL.

Edit: here is what igot so far but it dont fade..

    Events
        Game - Map initialization
    Local Variables
    Conditions
    Actions
        UI - Display "this is a text message" for (All players) to Directive area
        General - Wait 10.0 Game Time seconds
        UI - Clear All Messages for (All players)

or is one text message shown then another replacing it? if you have two people in a game talking it looks like above. :P
