middle and both ramps - ramps have textures down them and have stared the roads between the bases. The lava pit I am going to try and make it into a processing area once doodads are up, not sure how it'll work out, thoughts?
Rear of mech side I will add some mechanical doodading to these other islands to give them a better feel once terrain is done
Some new screenshots. Thoughts? areas I need to adjust a bit more?
Army base rear - airport sorta landing place, I don't think the bridge suits, anyone know of a better bridge or a better idea to design a way to get a path to the rear?
Overview of the gameplay area - overview of current pathing between both bases, this is where all combat and fighting will occur, there are 4 checkpoints which will be capturable and there are 3 additional paths between both sides
I am really looking for some feedback, areas I need to work on etc, its hard to critique on it all without doodads, and I really have no idea what to fill up the middle with, I was thinking about just raising the terrain to make hills, the 2 sections which you can kinda make out are unpathable, I don't really want to get boring and just make them forests.
I don't want to write up a huge post right now, but a small thing I've just noticed: use more grass. Particularly on the non-robot side. It's a little bit bland and I'm sure you can spice it up by adding parks and grassfields where no buildings are supposed to stand.

You seem to be the only one giving feedback, but that may be because the forums are a little dead :/
My question would be is how to do grass effectively because doing them square edge doesn't looks so natural unless it has some sort of frame, which I could add with doodads, I was looking at the other terrain brushes but airbrushing the grass over dirt, but it looks stupid. it does not look as though the grass is growing through the dirt.
You kind of answered your own question - you can add edges with doodads lateron. For variation, you can just add some grassy fields and basically 'sever' your roads from the 'lawn' with doodads. Think stuff like so.
Updated First post with the following:
Overview of Mech side 2 - complete overview of the robot side so far, still no doodading

Updated first post with the following:
Army base - Overview of the army base
Ramps and Middle - army base ramps and center, on this side I am going to to continue the road up and into the base rather than making culdesacs
Army base platform - The raised platform for the actual army base
Army base rear - airport sorta landing place, I don't think the bridge suits, anyone know of a better bridge or a better idea to design a way to get a path to the rear?
