I wanted a new background in my map so i changed it to like the space background and removed the textures around the platforms, but as you can see in the screen below in the corners there are ugly textures i cant remove, anyway to make it look smooth?
Hide lowest level won't remove the terrain cells stuck to the corners of those cliffs. Remove terrain cells won't remove them, either. I am looking at the cliffs in the data editor, and am pretty sure, if there is a solution, it is either in the mesh (less likely), or terrain object (more likely) tab. I'll poke around and see if I can find anything.
I had the opposite happen to my map. You had the textures missing from the cliffs, and the textures existing everywhere else. Made some superlaggy doodad trickery
I think you would need to change the cliff type, not to ulnar or castanar, as these are planetary cliff types. but to a space platform tileset, I think Braxis Alpha should work.
If you have the right type of cliffs you might need to go over the area with the terrain editor again, just use same level cliff and go over whats already there so that the editor generates a new random seed for those cliffs

There should be a data option in the Terrain Texture Set to Hide Lowest Cliff Level, or something to that effect.
You can't without extremely advanced editing, but just make your corners square, instead of straight lined point, use something like an L
it would look better, and not be noticeable,
Use Castanar or Ulnar cliffs.

if all else fails i would just do some clever doodad trickery and cover up the weird corners, used to do it in brood war days lol.

Hey, thnx for the replies, i tried the following:
- disable lowest cliff level doesnt work
- Changing the cliffs to ulnar castanar or anything else didnt remove the textures.
- i cant make pointy corners with the textures im using.
so the doodad thing might be a solution, might take a look at the mesh thing yeti was talking about.
