hopefully this isn't a dumb post but I'm fairly certain there are multiple 'brushes' that create cliffs in different ways (circle, diamond, square, airbrush, etcetera), and you're most likely using the Diamond one
Anyone got around this issue? It's pretty serious for my map (a td), I spent countless hours messing with the data editor but it didn't make a difference
Do you know if it is possible to change the cliff corners?
I want them to be squared but I didnt find the way to modify it.
Only thing I know is to make it 2 tiles wide and at least 2 tiles long that will make it square.
It's never square, the corners have always this stupid angle.
When the cliff is soo thin the effect is greater.
I'm sure there is a way to modify it via data editor but I could not find the right place

edit: nevermind it's still diamond :X ignore me
if you were to rearrange your map at 45 degrees, you would have square edges for a "horizontal" cliff.
However, I believe you can change these somehow using the terrain data types, Terrain Cliffs and Terrain Cliff Meshes
From my experience, the cliff levels alternate. If the corner tile at (x,y) = (5,5) is round then (4,5), (6,5), (5,4) and (5,6) are all square.
I have only been paying attention on one specific tileset so this behavior may be unique to those cliffs.
Mmmmmmmmmm
No, i tried placing them at different heights but they have always the same shape!
I'm using the Khoral Skysscraper Cliff

I'm sure it's stored somewere, maybe it's related to the model properties or maybe it can be done editing xml files manually...
