Games are ranked by popularity and type, so re-listing your game with a new type creates a new, separate (probably less popular -_-) version of the map.
You're making this far too complicated. Change the filters on "Bunker - Load/Unload" to allow allies, and then trigger up shared control between all players and the neutral bunker-owner.
All allies will be able to control the bunker, and it can use load-unload on all allies.
Over Battle.net, Blizzard has to let people play your map(s) without your consent. If you were to claim the rights to the map and wish to charge, they would be liable for disabling the map or paying you some sort of royalty for its use...
This sort of language only makes sense. They probably won't begin screwing customers, seeing as they'll want to do good business...
If you're trying to do this in the Data editor, you need to be working under the Events of the actor you are modifying. Here you can create conditions and events, almost like mini-triggers for a unit.
Hi, my name is Durandal on bnet and I made the current top-page map Zergling Blood 2010.
I think it needs a LOT of work, I hope people find it fun but I never really meant for it to be in release state.
MOSTLY: I really need to figure out how to set up the lobby. Right now it seems to place people into 5 vs 3 teams. I have no idea why, hosts say they cannot adjust this and it's pretty unfair.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how to set up Game Variants or otherwise setup the lobby? I've never looked into it and I think it's critical for a top-page game if I want to stay up there. I'm pretty annoyed that it's pitting people in unfair teams, and I can't really push changes to the map without changing it for everyone, so I want to be sure to get this part right
I'm not at the editor now so forgive me for being vague:
You need to create a new unit production ability (whatever barracks uses) and there should be a list of unit indexes within it. You need to add your units to this index, then you will be able to choose the units as ability commands for the training ability on the command card of your barracks.
bump again, I'm pretty sure I understand how this works but I'm having trouble getting started. Honestly, I don't even know how to get the marine on the bridge (but I think it involves forcing his cliff level while pathing over the cliff under the bridge?)
After you make a copy, you will notice a lot of the references in your actor (and maybe other places) refer to something by the same name but (Unknown) - just set these to the sounds, models, etc. that you need. You don't need to duplicate anything but the unit and the unit's actor.

The editor is still kinda buggy - restart the editor, restart your computer from time to time.

Who says you can't publish your maps in multiple places?

You're pretty much right, you should be able to create custom cliffs using "cliffs" in the data editor along with your own models

when you say "an alarming rate," are you using a really ridiculous value? you could be overdoing something
Post what you have, upload the map if necessary
