I'm not sure if that would work. I guess you have to click on "reference" in that case. Just typing it in using custom doesn't work for Actor-References so I imagine it won't work here either.
Now from any other actor I can reference "::global.ChannelerBeamTarget" to get that actor.
Yes, I typing ::global.MedicRechargeLaunch in custom field. I click OK. After, I see my custom reference name in the drop box on reference radio button.
Thank you for your help.

Hello everyone
How defined a actor reference?
Image : http://img202.imageshack.us/i/actorreference.jpg/
"Choose a user defined actor reference"
Example : ::global.MedicHealLaunch
Thanks
@Ulab: Go
Not sure if I understand your request correctly, but try clicking "Actor" in the bottom right window? ^^
Thanks for your answer
If I write ::global.MedicRechargeLaunch in custom field in order to define a reference name, is this correct?

Here's an example from one of my maps:
ActorCreation
RefSet ::global.ChannelerBeamTarget ::self
Now from any other actor I can reference "::global.ChannelerBeamTarget" to get that actor.
