I'm making an Impossible Scenarios map style, and I want that players can change their 'player number' from lobby by changing their team, like in SC1 or WC3. (The player number is important as it gives different units)
I managed to set teams through Game Variants but when we change our team in lobby, it doesn't change our player number in game, if you test your map, you'll always be player 1.
Blizzard said in a future patch they will make it so the player number matches the lobby slot. But currently the in game player numbers are kinda random.

And something like Give every unit of Player Y to Player X ? It could work, but I should verify every trigger if they are not based on the actual player number, that complexifies the thing, thanks Blizzard ~
Wonderful tutorial. Scroll down until you find "Player attributes, picking your hero in the lobby". You can use this to allow the player to pick what starting unit they get.

You cant change player numbers yet.

There is no way to make the same thing as in WC3 ? (# lobby slot = # number player)
No but u can do...(Player X from (Player Group(Players on Team Y) something like this.

I noticed the modifications in Game Variants, but can we make the thing in the lobby?

Either way, good luck.
