How is it possible for me to make it so there is a group of units, like in Warhammer 40k?
I want to be able to make it so once you click on a unit in the group, everyone is selected. Because I have a great gamemode I am making and I really can't figure this out.
The basic idea is that you make a periodic trigger (or better: a function) that'll take all units from a unit group and move them close to the squad leader.
Of course you could add more stuff like a height check to make sure the unit doesn't accidently move atop of a cliff. Or you could add formations. You'll mainly have to do more math to do so. But the above code works.
Consider making the leader have a hangar ability and the followers hangar units, similar to a carrier's interceptors. It should be possible to make it so any damage done to the leader unit is redirected to one of the followers, and the followers will automatically follow the leader and attack his target. You can choose whether or not you want the followers to be selectable and commandable as individuals, as well.
Thanks s3rious! The only thing is, for me it doesn't highlight the circle around them. It only highlights one person, but everyone moves? Any suggestions?

Make it one unit with a huge actor? :)
Then anchor weapons to various parts of it..
However, it would deal and take damage as a unit..
