Alright, I have a problem with my unit (tower). When it attacks, the weapon effect follows the wave units, but not the tower. So, basicly I want the tower to face the wave units when it attacks. I must've forgotten something, hope someone knows what.
You probably forgot to assign a turret to the weapon, under the unit's Weapons field. However if you want the entire tower to turn (if the model doesn't have a turret) then you need to check Turnable under flags and set the weapon's arc to 0.
A tip - for a start try using already exisiting turrets. I myself have had problems with custom turrets so I use already existing as much as possible instead :P

What model are you trying to use? I should have specified this will only work if you're using a model that can rotate. For example making a "Hydra Tower".
If you're trying to have a building rotate then sorry I haven't been able to find out how to do that. But it would look goofy as hell anyways.
I figured out how to make rotatable models rotate. But I'd like the building to have a unit's model (such as the Thor, or Viking). It looks dumb if it does not face its target while attacking.
I would like help with a similar problem. I have made an ability on my Siege Tank that targets a location (pretty much "Attack ground"). However, though the ability fires and all, the Siege Tank's turret does not turn to fire at that direction. What do I have to do with the Actors to make the Turret turn correctly?
Also, how would I make the Actor continuously animate the "Attack" animation? I have tried "Play Forever", but it seems to only play once. Would the single play have something to do with the Time Modifier ("Default", "Automatic", etc.)? How do I use that field?
i have the same problem as shadowlightx. Siege tank won't turn it's cannon/barrel to face what it's attacking. The turrets, actors, weapons, and units for both the working towers and problematic tower all look exactly the same
I used to get these same problem. I think u need add abi move to the tower, check turnable and uncheck moveable(if u want your tower don't move), and change weapon arc or abi arc to 0 (like Riley said). Not sure these can help, but they are everything i can remember to fix my problem.
whoa! just made a discovery. If you go to Units in the editor and PLACE the tank lvl 2, it works fine, it' just when tank tower lvl 1 upgrades into lvl 2 when the bug occurs. Check and see if it's this way for you too. I'll try and figure this out
It's pretty frustrating when I've experimented with everything you guys said and it doesn't work. I applied the move ability to the unit, I saw the unit use the move ability when the enemies approached. I tried changing the various things you mentioned. But it just wouldn't turn, something must hold it back.

Ah, if you're using a unit's model, it's flagged as turnable and it's still not turning....
Is the weapon arc set to 0? If the weapon arc is 360 then it doesn't need to turn to fire.

I tried that. You can order it to attack. The attack button becomes active as if it's working, but it doesn't do anything. It doesn't turn nor shoot.
I'm on the same boat as Vexal, sadly without a solution. I've tried everything written in here aswell.

I would like help with a similar problem. I have made an ability on my Siege Tank that targets a location (pretty much "Attack ground"). Had the same problem with my map and fixed it a minute ago.
I had copied my turret which rendered it unable to turn. So take an already existing turret.
