I'm trying to make units be able to turn on the spot but not actually able to move. I've messed around with the turnable, movable and turn before move flags, also the speed which they turn but no luck. Any ideas?
Just to speed it up - it's not as easy like that. Setting movement speed or accelleration to 0 will make the unit completely immovable and unturnable.
I'm not 100% sure about removing the Move Ability, but I don't think that'll work.
Removing the ability "Move" doesn't actually prevent the unit from moving either (funny). Removing the "Move" ability and setting acceleration to 0 under "Movement" seems to work, however. I hope that helps!
EDIT: I apologize, but this makes it so that the unit will turn to attack other units, but not simply turn on right click.
Yeah if you disable the move ability it won't move at all, same with the movable flag. I really thought it would have something to do with turn before moving but I'm still lost.
Perhaps try changing the movement speed to some tiny value. Not really great solution but certainly the easiest. I have no experience with this though; I'm just guessing.
Correct. I've played with that as well which is very handy by itself but it doesn't affect whether something will wait to turn before moving or not, even if you set the speed to very slow.

Changing Movement - Speed to 0 doesn't work for this? Are you trying to have it turn on command or turn while it fires like a turret?
Remove Move from its abilities and command card?
I have no idea if this restricts turning.

Yeah I've tried setting it to .004 but then the unit turns as fast as it moves which is... slow. :P
