Hello guys, I'm trying to make a 3d mortar style missle that shoots with a curved trajectory like this:
Unfortunately the missle always faces horizzontally in the same way, I would like to face him top while he's going high and face him bottom when he's falling down.
Do you know if there is an action to change the vertical facing of a unit?
Yeah, I am still trying to figure out what all the setting on the movers do. But when I replaced the mover on the Missile Turret missiles with the Infestor Infested Terran mover(Without changing anything else) I was able to get the Parabolic path, when I try to create my own...well...things don't go quite as well (My favorite was when the missiles stopped about 5 range out and just piled up on each other).
Maybe that worker cause you used an ability to shoot the missle while I'm doing it using triggers.
I tried to replace my missle with an EMP grenade that has some kind of strange pathing but the granade flies at the bottom left corner of the map O_o

I think I got something similar to what you are looking for by replacing the "Mover" of a missile with the "Infestor Infested Terrans" mover.
Whoa! It seems the mover has a moving style called "Parabola". I'll test it now!

Mmmmmm I tested it but it seems that now my projectile disappeared, maybe cause I'm using the Ignore terrain height flag. Doing another check!

Damn... changing the mover now my missle stopped walking forward as he always did

I'm lookin at the "Motion Phases +" of the movers but it's really complex, did anyone succesfully tried to modify these values?

Yes, I was using the normal attack for the missile turrets. There is a solution in this thread that might help a bit.
Mmmm I think it can be used just for static rotations, we need something more dynamic :D
Can you post an example of the trajectory you're working on? I'd like to take it apart and apply it to my game.
