Do they just make it so you cannot publish near patch day? (tuesday) Or is this just something on my part.
P.S. GATEWAY_DOWN is an error I'm getting when trying to publish.
99% of publishing problems are caused by the map itself. Specifically, illegal changes in your game variants can cause these types of issues. Double check and make sure it all adds up.

You have exactly 2 minutes to upload any map with the editor before you get the gateway error. Go ahead and check it with a stopwatch or something. I guess Blizzard has the right to put a timeout like that, they did say "broadband internet" in the game requirements... They didn't consider a cheap-ass ISP that cuts corners everywhere and sets the upload limit to 32MB/s, like mine :/
yep, with my satelite connection i couldnt upload above 5 mb without gateway_down error, but now im on a WAY faster cable connection it uploads with in seconds, i never get that error anymore... i really hope they fix this issue because it really sucks
SO hang on....is the 2 minute thing confirmed? Can you only upload a map if your internet can do it in 2 minutes? UGGhhhhh blizzard..... O.o Why? I think my connection is decent enough to do it but whats the point of extending the MB limit if you time people out? And this is not a bug but it needs to be fixed. Just cuz your map takes 2 minutes to upload, they time it out??

ive been trying for a longggggggg time now, and i cant get my map to upload.. What the hell is wrong..
Last Tuesday I had scheduled an update for my game, and after spamming upload (with no changes made to my map) it eventually went through.
Hardly sounds like a problem with my map.
I am having the GATEWAY_DOWN problem too and seems like it doesnt want to go away...
ARGSHH seems like it was because my map was over 5mb, there goes 10mb map size limit....
Fucking great, I still cant publish it on eu (dont know about NA) if my map is over 5mb!!!
I had the same problem, but after some tries to upload my map that error dissapeared. So just reupload it until it lets you publish your map.

how big was your map and on which server? (as I tried it atleast 20 times back than.)
9.8mb on EU
I also have the same error. I have no problem with the EU editor but with the US editor, I can not published the same map.
I tried again.
I managed to upload the map with 5.26mb size
but I couldnt upload it with 6.36mb size after 10 tries.

omg this really sucks. I have 4mbit net btw. Until now it was enough for anything.D
I don't think Blizzard considers this an issue or bug, it's a feature: get a better internet of GTFO :/

Yep. Utterly ridiculous.
Can somebody report this on the NA forum? ( I want to add more custom models to my map, and I wont buy better net just because that.)
