I got a feeling that this is somehow related to banks. Let me know if your map use banks and bank signatures.
The players who got dropped were the ones who played the older version. Somehow, i think the version isn't being updated and they are being dropped on the loading screen.
I've had my own fair share of disconnects the last days. We've had to start 2-3 times before no one dropped.
Interestingly this hasn't happened at all to custom melee maps I've played.
Does deleting the map cache folder's content
(most likely in something like "C:\ProgramData\Blizzard Entertainment\StarCraft II\Maps\")
solve the problem?
They had some problems related to updating that folder before. I can't upload my map, go to battle.net and load it without crashing.
I will crash during loading screen because of mod files (works without them) and a memory error (everyone else can load the map just fine) appears. I have to delete the stuff inside the folder to play it. :(
But maybe that's the error that one of us had in EU map night with my map (besides that my map is able to crash the game, if you play something after playing my map).
Apart from whats already been said I noticed it happens alot when I have the Editor open in the background, I tend to map whilst waiting for the game to fill and start.
But anyways could everyone being alt tabbed as game starts be the problem? Causing desync.

So, this latest version of Starcraft brought a new bug where lots of players are being dropped after a map update.

s3rius, it's also happening to Nexus Hindrance Wars. (I bet the same will happen to all my maps since I use the same bank files for all of them).

Some players got dropped 4 times in a row. I got dropped 3 times in a row. I think just quitting Starcraft and coming back might solve it.
It happens most often on larger-player maps. I think Mafia gets more drops than any other map in pure volume because of its 15 player count.
Have you guyz realized now that even if you cancel the download of a map, you are still getting into the lobby?
Try it with the fun or not.

Damn Game Engines and Designs are getting soooooooooooo complex but because of that, they are also getting not-so reliable now-a-days :( .
