I would like to make a map but i don't know the editor. It will only use one modified mechanic.
I want to make units so that they cannot be moved manually, but they will move and attack when enemy unit is in specific range automatically. They should also be able to move when using ability such as stim or charge etc.
I tried remove obvious move and attack command but that either makes the unit unable to move at all if i remove both or the unit being able to be move using the attack command, if i only remove move command. I think this should be easily done? Don't know where to look...
If I understand you correctly, that you don't want the player to be able to move the unit and/or attack with the unit causing it to move then maybe you can try the Action 'Make Unit Uncommandable'. This would allow the player to click on their unit and see its abilities etc but the unit will only 'do' something when an enemy comes within range of it.
Yes, this is how i want the units to work, but i also want to be able to use the abilities, and after the unit have chased and killed a unit it will stay in that place, not go back to from where the attack was triggered.
Use a buff system that when attacking it adds a second buff that is removed when the unit stops attacking ordering the unit to move to its current point.
