I made a melee map and ran into a problem I can't solve by myself.
I started a map on Bel'Shir Tileset but then replaced some of the textures with Char textures. So now I have a half jungle, half volcanic map. I want two types of 6x6 Destructible Rocks now, one with the normal Bel'Shir textures and one with the Char textures but I can't find out how to do this. So far I can obviously only place rocks with jungle textures :(
I'd appreciate your help very much, thanks in advance.
Nope, the problem with the Rocks is that I can just place a "Destructible Rock 6x6" and then depending on the texture set I originally chose the Rock will either be jungle style or volcano style or whatever there is.
And the Model just says "Destructible Rock 6x6" so I can't just change that :-/
I'm not positive, because I haven't messed with this kind of thing, but look at the Model for the rocks. There's an entry for "Texture Declarations +", which may be what you're looking for, but I don't know specifically how you'd want to change it.
Was pretty obvious but there is just so much stuff you can change under model that I didn't see it.
You just go to Data , select the Destructible Rock 6x6 for example, go to Model , scroll down to "Texture Applied Groups" and select whatever type you want (for me it was Char). Now your Rock has Char texture or whatever you chose

Ragoo
Bump, cause I don't think that this is too hard for you guys !?

You should be able to place any unit on any tileset as far as I know...
A heavy handed solution would be to go into the data editor and manually replace the model. Actor -> Art - Model

I hope that's helpful for others as well. :)
The actor event TextureSelectById can also change textures, that might help for doodads too.
