I recently tried to convert my map to HotS and since i had units from the liberty campaign and normal, it wouldn't let me remove those. so I added the Swarm mod and campaign and told it to do it anyway even though it says data loss may occur because there was no other way to get HotS inside it. So i played the map and it seems like it worked, however i noticed that all of the units are campaign versions. I tried it without the campaign dependency and then the units wouldn't switch to HotS, they stayed on the liberty version. How do I solve this?
@fishy77: Go First you need to decide what exactly you want from HoTS. There are 3 dependencies and they will give you different results. You don't really need Swarm.sc2mod this is the basic dependency used by the others, so if you added Swarm Campaign you wont need it. Swarm Campaign also contains Liberty Campaign which means you don't need to have both.
But adding Swarm Campaign does make all units the cmapaign version, that's the reason behind having it as a separate dependency. If you want to have melee versions you could add Swarm Multi campaign on top of it, but it won't solve all the issues. In the end you will have work to do and fix some things.
Alright. I'm fine with dong some work with it. I just want to convert a map that has some liberty things in it, into a map that has the normal HotS units, while still keeping the custom liberty units that need the liberty dependencies.
@fishy77: Go For that Liberty Campaign + Swarm Multi will do. If you don't want campaign units from HoTS don't use Swarm Campaign because it screws with many melee units. You will have less work to do without it.

@fishy77: Go Swarm Hosts require the Infestation Pit, same requirement as Infestors.
@fishy77:
I updated the first post to contain what my new issue is and why the swarm host wasn't working correctly.

Alright so if I use the multi, what else do I need to do to convert all the melee units to HotS?

@fishy77: Go Swarm Multi as the top most one should do that.
@SoulFilcher:
maybe that's why it didn't work because i had it as the bottom most one.
