Sometime when use this ability to launch a missile. It doesn't always work. When it works it sticks to the target, then after time blows up.
Attached are the ability and the launch missile fields.
What is causing it to miss/not attach? I don't understand.
Update:
After testing it some more and playing around with it, it looks like it only misses when the target you cast it on is moving. If they are stationary, then it lands every time.
How do I fix this so I can cast it on a moving target as well as stationary??
It's because it uses the Mover :TossBottle(Unnamed) which does not Track the target. You can launch it at a point and it will attach to a unit if there is one there, but if not, it bugged out.
You can change the mover in the unit tab, the custom Projectile for the grenade.
I think this was my very first "custom" ability I ever did, hahaha.
That mover (tossbottle) does not have a Guidance phase, which is what causes projectiles to home in on their target.
