All models have an origin and that is the default. Most models also have Target attachment points which the action actors target. You can overcome this like the colossus model does by adjusting the Attachment Properties+ fields under the Models data type.

I tried to change the weapon actor to a different point besides center, but it didnt change any thing. It only changes what it hits on normal sc2 models not the imported ones.
The models do have target attachment points but not center. I tried change them with properties+ field but didnt have any luck ither. (granted i didnt realy know what i was doing with the properties+ feild.)
Not sure how much you know about this stuff, so forgive me if some of this is obvious.
Every model has attachment points. (duh) The weapon actor shoots at one of those attachment points with a filer. You can modify these filters to make the missile shoot at the correct target.
You can, like DrSuperEvil said, also change the model Attachment Properties+. This will allow you to filter the attachment points. For example, lets say that you have a weapon that shoots to Weapon 01. You can have the Attachment Properties+ field switch the attachment point to something else, like Weapon 02 when Weapon 01 isn't detected.
Also, you can modify the fallback. This is in most cases Origin, and I actually wouldn't recommend changing it UNLESS you know for a fact that all of your units have that fallback attachment point. Otherwise no animation will be created at all.
I tried changing the weapon actor to shoot at differnt points. I tryied both target, and hardpoint which i know wow models have. While firing at sc2 models i noticed the different, but while firing at WoW models, it was still fireing at the feet.
For the properties i created a new one.
Set id as the attachment point i wanted the porjectile to hit, target 01.
Changed the key of center from -128 to 0.
Im assuming that all that i had to do for properties+. It still was fireing at the feet and yes the weapon was firing at the center attachment point.
im having the exact same problem. im also using wow models and the missiles dont hit the center of the model, and they also dont follow the target if its moving. i tried everything explained here but it didnt help.
When projectiles hit my imported models they all ways impact at the feet.
How can i change this so it hits the body?
@shocker455: Go they are impacting at an attachment point that is found using a attach query FilterAMWeapon set up in the actor
if your model does not have a center orgin attachment point, then it probabaly just defaults at the feet

Try creating a site actor via alias on the right points and using the Impact Force Site flag of the Action actors.
