I use a lifeleech behaviour on some of my heroes. But sometimes things get really messed up, and the lifeleech just dissappears or even get kind of reverse, so the hero takes damage,when it deals dmg, instead of leeching life.
I know i could do it with triggers instead, but is there a way to do it with data?
Several behaviours can leech life and getting it to reverse is quite a feat that others would like to copy (thorns aura). The Damage effect can also leech life.
i just use the "leeched vitals per dealt damag" field. At least how i would translate it ;)
i use a german client, so i dunno how its called in english, its under modification -> combat,the very first field. I didnt know there were any more ways to do it via data.
Ah, that field is a fraction so 1 = 100% leeched. Is the buff stackable? I recommend tou read the wiki pages on the Buff behabiour and the Damage effect.
the abilityisset up pretty easy. Just anability of type "behaviour"and then link the buff to it. But i dont think that matters.
As far as i know this specific field is just buggy. Ive seen more theads where ppl had problems with this.
