Is there any way to do this? Right now I have it with triggers, when a button is pressed do something to selected units. Is there a way to do completely with the data editor?
Also if you've played my map Battlecruiser Wars, you know when the water is transitioning and the flow speed is really fast. Is there a way to fix it? All i have is a trigger to change to another water state.
I beleive I got told you have to add a buff to the unit. so it is just stacking a buff on the individual unit, probably not the method you were after but I have asked the same thing nobody has been able to tell me otherwise
Then just very, very carefully edit the values in there? I know that part of the editor tends to crash, but I've managed to get the hang of editing in such an hazardous part of the editor.
Edit: Here's a picture of where I would edit this:
That won't upgrade individual units though they will affect all units of the same time, what the OP is asking is how to upgrade marine 1 and marine 2 seperatly

What do you mean by "upgrades" and "single unit?"
Can you be more specific as to exactly what you want to do?
An Upgrade, in the data editor, affects all units of a particular type. If you want to only affect individual units, use Behaviors.

Or make it it's own separate unit. Obviously behaviors is a lot easier but this is another option.
Okay so I would have to use behaviors okay, thanks.
Uhm... What?
Isn't this as simple as simply making the effects of an upgrade only affect the desired unit?
Upgrades -> "Your upgrade here" -> Upgrade - Effects + -> Add your desired effects
Then just very, very carefully edit the values in there? I know that part of the editor tends to crash, but I've managed to get the hang of editing in such an hazardous part of the editor.

Aha! I see. I was reading it as if he wanted to upgrade a unit TYPE, and not a single unit. That is a completely different matter :)

to upgrade 1 unit you need to give it a veterancy behavoir that Increases it stats or has some other effect
