I'm trying to make an ability that 'infects' the target with a parasite. If the target dies while still infected (infected effect goes away after 15 seconds) then a unit spawns over its dead body. I have the effect which applies the buff. But how do I make it so the thing is only spawned upon death? I looked at "effect- finish" and a few other fields, none seem to look like they would work.. Thanks in advance! :)

That looks good, but it also looks like the unit just dies after a few seconds. I know how to do that. I want the thing to only spawn if the unit is killed. The actual parasite does no damage. So if you are infected you can retreat for 15 seconds and be ok.

If you could, I was looking for something similar to the ability you're describing, and I could make use of that ability if you're willing to share. I'm trying to create a Zombie game and I was thinking it would be cool to have my Zombie units spawn from the death of a regular unit. That is only if you're willing to share your work, if not then I'll try and do it myself. Not real good with triggers though, hahaha.
I would place the Spawn Units effect in the "Effect - Finish" of the Behavior. It seems you've done that already so no problem. Now in the Spawn Units effect I would add a validator checking whether the Target's life is equal to 0.
You can set a Death Response effect as part of a behavior. This effect can be a Create Unit effect, for example, or anything else you want to trigger on the unit's death.

then remove the dot effect and/or make the buff lasting forever
Ok...but I need to find a way to make it so the effect only triggers on death.
