Hey guys, this will be my showcase page by now, but I have to advise that I'm starting to modelling and my not be so good. Heryou can post any feedback, sugestions or everything you want. I'm asking for your help for improving my models. EDIY: BTW this is all I have from my new (ans first) started project: the Terran Automaton. We can't use the Terratron? Let's use this robot machine.
I am sure a lot of that detail could be done using a normal texture.
I'm sorry but I don't know a lot about textures, just about diffuse.
EDIT: I think I'm going to restart it again but thinking in something with lower poly count. I'm opened to ideas or suggestions and also to tricks or help.

This is the new model. Looking for someone who can texture it and add a team color glow to the laser on the eye. It has attachment points and bones (but don't know how to use bones ithas jast got the bones linked to the objects). I think I'll be able to animate.
Aim for under 16k polygons if you want a rare unit in the range of 8 max per army while common units like marines aim for under 3k since that puts you in the 300 cap range.
Check my walker prototype system, when I have done revising it you will be able to attach whatever bunkers and terran stuff you want from a skeleton and animate it.

Which one is that the LEGZ? I'm trying to mke the Terratron using the existing models in 3DS Max but think this will be easier.

Btw if this is the model for ingame, you are way above the polys for a normal model

It will be a kind of Terran robot (high poly 20k more or less). An if it's above the poly count, just look atthe Thor (above 16k more or less)

Being able to use a normal map helps a lot for fine details, emissive only helps for team colour and glowing stuff.
