I have a model that I just can't get the texture working. Some parts show up but the rest are showing up black. This is a Pokemon model I exported from Pokemon Stadium 2. Someone told me before its a problem with the UVW or something. I am new to Max 2010 and have no idea how to do it. From the picture it is Mew, I have about 300 I need to get fixed that are just like this one.
I am using a plugin for an emulator to export the model. I have about 12 textures that was exported along with the model. I own the game so its legal for me to have the rom for it. The model has texture coordinates, not sure what that means, but I was told some textures are being displayed smaller then they are meant to be displayed. I could send someone the model with the textures that go along with it, hopefully someone can teach me how to fix this. Pokemon map for SC2 would be epic. Only problem is no animations.

Does the model exporter for the game export UV maps? That is what determines the coordinates for texture maps on the model.
If you want to do this manually, it's going to take a long time, and especially if you're going to do 300.
