I just completed a Star Destroyer model (from Stars Wars). I have posted several screen shots below.
I am looking for someone who can create textures for the Star Destroyer model (and more specifically textures that are readable and exportable to m3 for Starcraft 2.
After the textures are complete I am then looking for someone who can create Standing, Flying and several different attack animations.
I reduced the polygon count to 1280 (quite low for SC 2) and a vertex count of 980.
If you would like more detail added to the model before making textures let me know.
I'll take the top three turrets off, I'll put more sci-fi styled weapons in their place. How is the size of the 5 turrets on each side of ship. I'll lower the bridge height by 33%.
They're good. I'm also not sure that the top turrets need to go, just they could be smaller. Without them, the top part of the Destroyer would seem too empty.
At first I was wondering what ship you were working on, but then it hit me. It's an Imperial Star destroyer that could use some minor tweaking. Here is a great pic to work from if you want reference.
Looking good for a first model, it does lack a little detail, though like plating and that "sense" of it being like a giant city, I recommend a 3ds max plug in called greeble to make your life easier by adding this kind of detail.
Regarding the animations, they shouldn't be hard to make, it's just a flying ship which is HUGE so I doubt it's actually supposed to "jiggle" while flying or move at all. Shooting animations are the ones you're looking for and shouldn't be hard either I'd recommend it that you do them yourself as an excercise now that you're learning to model :D
It better have alot of TurretZ and TurretY attachment points else it will be a pain to use ingame. Art wise the shield generators (the geodesic domes on the bridge) need to be bigger and lower down as well as the whole bridge tower as previously stated. All the horizontal turrets seem to be sticking out on long sticks which detracts from the star destroyer look. I also agree the upper turrets are too large. Otherwise nothing a good normal testure could not fix.

@EdwardSolomon: Go
Does the model suck? It's the first model I ever made.

It's okay, though it could use more polygons, and the bridge could be a bit lower. Also, the turrets seem too large.

sorry I can't find my pictures file to upload it for some reason.

If not I'll be glad to help more.
I'm attaching some pictures regarding greeble. http://adage.com/images/bin/image/medium/DeathStarSurfaceCG.jpg?1251143129 http://robertxsi.uw.hu/images/GreebleREGION_06B%20Low2.jpg
