Yes, everything is me, except the texture, it is a subset of different existing Heroes of the Storm textures that I put together into one, and some Photoshopping to make it look seamless.
The animations are based on the animations existing in the wc3 model
I'm trying to correlate the curvature of this shell and curvature of that green dude body, and can only imagine it covering his face or his butt, but he has eyes on his face and not holes on the shell, therefore face is a wrong place. So, it's a buttshell?
Back from holiday, finally got GTA V for PC :) and Heroes of course.
Here is an update on the reaper model... progressing slower than I want but still...

Hey Looking great! Are you painting all the details by hand ? If you would like to make some details pop out, try painting normals in 3d coat first and then make cavity/ao from it and paint colour on top. You can even model some fine details and bake it to your lowpoly shape. This way painting will be easier and you will get very clean results. Anyway, keep it up!
Here is the latest update

Quick question: did you animate it yourself, or did you reuse some animations from wc3/wow?

Great model, but I think the 2nd attack animation lacks a bit of energy.
Take a look at Hecarim maybe?

Damn, that looks awesome, I should have "used" his animations in stead of doing everything myself :)
Maybe I'll change the animation, now that I have a decent example thnx!

On holiday, forgot my stuff except Photoshop and 3DS Max so I needed to do some stuff like this:

You should lower the head and raise the middle of the back up a bit. Murlocs are rounded like a half circle.
Also the nose area should be flat as it extends up his head. Yours is too rounded, use a fish head as a guide. It should be extremely boney looking.
Little update, thnx for the crits Daara87, I looked up some fish heads for comparison and made some changes to the head and the rounding of the back.
Also added a spear weapon based on one of the TCG artworks.
Still need a shell shield.

I'm pretty sure it's a shield.

That model looks fantastic! I can't wait to see him running around in game.
I picked GTA also, it's making anything to do with editing go VERY slowly XD. It runs surprising well on my 6 year old computer too :) .

Yep every detail is painted by hand, that's why it is taking me so long, I'm trying out some stuff to get a decent normal map. Still lots todo...

have you ever tried zBrush and poly painting?
Yeah I did, I really (really) do not like zBrush, I usually go for mudbox, but I'm really bad with hard surfaces :/
Poly painting, yeah I do that with 3D Coat, or the rough layout anyways
