i`m working on an addon for SC2 and for that i imported some custom icons. For that i downloaded some pictures from the internet then i used the "Easy2Convert JPG to DDS" Converter and then changed the size to 76*76. But if i now use these pictures in my addon and start my test map the Icons are BIGGER as the normal icons of SC2. Does someone knows what i did wrong?
Thanks for any help - Meldexun
Ok i looked at a original SC2 Icon and found out that the pixels at the border are transparent or nearly. So does someone know if there is an easy way to make the borders like this?
Try exporting an already existing icon from sc2 and then copying the alpha of that icon to your own. I've found that to be the easiest way of making your icons fit properly.

You can set the transparency using adobe photoshop.
I'll post step by step tutorial later [with pics].
