Unit Tester Online v0.97 - updated Dec 17, 2011
Unit tester for one or two players. Easy to use unit creator, resource spending tracker, different arenas, and many options. Compare unit compositions and costs, or practice your micro with friends.
To play the map online:
- Search for keyword "online"
- NA server: "Unit Tester Online" published by Killer
- EU server: "[Official] Unit Tester Online" published by Westberg
- SEA server: "[Official] Unit Tester" published by EpicZergling
- other server: We need help publishing! Contact me for latest versions!
To play the map offline:
- Download TheUnitTester.SC2Map from the right side.
- Choose from "North America" or "International" versions, depending on your client.
- Drag TheUnitTester.SCMap over Starcraft II to open with the Blizzard Launcher

Yes, you can definitely upload it to EU. I'll PM you instructions and how to update it. Once uploaded, you can create a game by searching "UnitTesterOnline"
Cool, I like it! But it's not available on EUserver :( Can I upload it there? I don't know how, but if you give me permission I'm sure I can figure it out.
The map has been updated. Check the changelog for details, but the map should be just as intuitive. If it's not I'll see about adding instructions, either here on in-game.

Map updated. To use online: Search "UnitTesterOnline" on NA server. Works with one or two players.
To use offline: Download file. Open file in Map Editor and press Ctrl+F9.
I can't work the double choke, mineral, large scale maps... is it just me?
I really like your project and hope you continue to develop it. However, the "Set unit(s) to 100% energy" doesn't work for me, which makes it almost useless for what I'm trying to work on. I select a sentry or high templar and hit the icon or press ',' but nothing happens. Is it just me or am I doing something wrong? Are you aware of this? And if so,do you have any plans to fix it?

Is there a way to speed up initial cooldown? Using corruptors or something, I have to sit there and wait between each restart. Kinda sucks. Of course, I don't want to disable the cooldown altogether... just the initial cooldown when units are recreated.

I really love this map, but I'm curious about some things... half of the locations you can choose don't work for me and haven't in earlier versions either. I waited to see if it was going to be fixed, but it seems like no one else has commented about this. Also, respawn doesn't create the same number of units frequently and buildings that build things don't have fast progress bars, like creating nukes in a Ghost Academy. Am only I having these issue?
Specifically, I can't pick: "Open Field", "Double Choke", and "Mineral Line".
P.S. I don't want to sound ungrateful. The map is amazing, I just hope to have some minor issues fixed. Thanks again.

I think what you're observing is normal splash behaviour, you just don't notice how small the splash radius while playing the game. It's known as the .

In Thor VS Mutalisks, air splash damage isn't taking effect (if i target the center muta in a group of mutas, only that one muta takes damage).
What's the deal with this editor bug?

I explained why I don't want to change the restart key in my last comment. If you want I could up a hotfix version somewhere else, where F5 restarts instead of Esc.

Suggestion tho: could you please change it so that the Escape key doesn't restart the unit tester? I hit the escape key all the time to cancel spells, and cancel buildings ands its really annoying to have to click the 'cancel button' instead to avoid restarting the unit tester.
is this a legal map for starcraft 2?
Is really an exelent map.. i love it.. it helps me a lot to practice Micro and for test some units combo againts terran m&m&m.
