As posted on the teamLiquid thread:
"There is a new version of the map available. I fixed the trigger error messages and the costs that were being displayed incorrectly. There are a few other small fixes, check the notes for more.
The editor bug that keeps me from adding more areas seems to extend to everything that involves any sort of text changes, which stopped me from changing the back hotkey from Esc to F5 (as the text ingame would have still read "Hotkey: Escape". I think that means this is going to be the last update for the map, as I won't be able to make any more significant changes to the map."
@Origitalus
If you would like a version with F5 instead of Esc for back, I could patch up something and up it somewhere else. I just wouldn't want to make it official if the tooltips are confusing.
@AlienDan
Hmm, what do you mean, when you play it from battle.net? I only know how to launch the map from the editor. If you just want the map to load quicker you can alt-tab out of starcraft and launch the map from the editor while sc is still running.
BEST MAP EVER.
Why are some other unit test maps that arent nearly as innovative and amazing as this popular but this isnt!?
(PROBLEM)
When I play it from map editor, it works perfect, i can control BOTH players, but when I try and play it from battle.net I can only play as one player. Please make it (or how do I make it) work so you can control both, not sure why it isnt working like this when launching it from battle.net.
Thanks for your feedback! I will look into the bugs you mentioned and the hotkey assignment.
The environments pose more of a problem though. Sadly, the map breaks whenever I edit the terrain directly, making it impossible to add new areas. I will do some research on your other suggestions and try and see what can be done.
It would be great if we could keep all the bugs and suggestions in the Unit Tester thread on teamliquid.
Also, it would be a lot easier for me if, whenever you find a bug, you give me a simple repro, like 1) do this 2) do that 3) it breaks, instead of "sometimes". It's very hard for me to find the specific issue that way.
Great Tool, thanks a lot!
I guess bugreports and suggestions go here?
Bugs:
1. Hotkey Conflict: The Escape-Button is needed often, so plz assign another for Respawn.
2. Seems like Terrans have Building Armor upgraded as default.
3. Sometimes only the Armor- and Attack-Upgrades are possible.
4. Sometimes Mothership cannot move and has no active abilities.
Suggestions:
1. More Environment Modes plzzz :) (Like in Trylobots Tester http://www.sc2mapster.com/maps/mock-battle-unit-tester/)
2. Possibility to save positions of units.
3. Add units retroactively (without respawn).
4. Possibility to spawn all units in Hold Position.
5. Add Archon Warp ability to Templars.
6. Mothership addable in the same way as the other units.
I have uploaded a new version of the same idea, built from scratch. I started work on this idea just before EyeSeeEm updated it from beta. Lol. Anyway, I leave the map open for your perusal. I tried to keep the triggers clean.

Many thanks EyeSeeEm.
Hey,
I am that someone that took it on himself to update the map : )
I just uploaded the latest (and hopefully last) hotfix version of the map. I think I got all the upgrades and tech working and updated to the state of the latest release version.
Hope you enjoy! And thanks to XGD for adding me to the project!
download link isnt working for me. works on other maps.
And where can I get that updated version that someone else did?
Last version was beta. Someone has brought it on himself to update this to recent versions and all that good jazz.
This is really nice, however, i dont seem to find where to upgrade to speedlings. (I am using version 7)
Just want to mention that building sentry doesn't work in latest version (7).
The Unit Tester is truly an awesome map. I really hope it gets updated.
YEAH
This is the best map. But now it crashes randomly and very quickly in release SCII. Is that what everyone else gets??
OMG now that the game is out, WE ALL WANT UNIT TESTER BACK! please make it compatible with the released version! me & my friend loved ur work & strongly feel it should be an official blizzard release with the game! any1 else know where to get a similar unit testing map that is already out in the meantime?
pls help
THANKS

This map is going to be legendary in the SC2 community; incredibly useful.
Is it possible to fix the Mothership bug - I like how MS is made as upgrade, to avoid multiple MS in a set, but then it turns out none of its abilities work. It cannot Vortex or Recall. People use this map for tests with such spells too. Apart from that it's awesome.
