They Are Billions is a Steampunk strategy game set on a post-apocalyptic planet, in which the player must build and defend colonies to survive against the billions of the infected that seek to annihilate the few remaining living humans.

This project is inspired by that concept, and provides an StarCraft-style twist to the game. Rather than zombies, you fight the Infested terrans that were once your world's colonists. What's more - the zerg are still present, and using the vast numbers of infested terrans to flush away any remaining resistance - even supporting the Infested hordes in their sieges against the survivors.

In this gamemode, you control a small group of survivors - four marines, two SCVs, and their command center. From there, you must establish a new colony, and defend against the thousands (2000+) Infested Terrans roaming the map. They do not wander towards you on their own, but they will prevent expansion into outlying territory. What's more, the periodic hordes of infested terrains (coming in every 5 minutes) must be repelled. They start small, but grow in size as time goes on. You must build turrets, bunkers, barriers and more in your attempts to withstand the hordes.
