Description:
You have crash landed on the hostile, jungle, infested world of krydon. You and 0-3 other SCVs are the only survivors of the crash. You must gather resources, explore & find abandoned structures to survive Zerg attack waves at night & find a way to escape or Conquer Krydon! Stranded on Krydon Renewed is a renewed version of the original Stranded on Krydon created by Nagnazul. Because I really like Stranded on krydon I decided to create my own.
How to Win
- Win by seeking rescue, finding a way to escape or wait 50 min until the end.
Tips:
Gameplay tips:
- Avoid the bottom right corner, there are lots of bad guys ready to pounce, only engage when you are ready.
- Explore with scanner towers or flying command centers/resource stockpiles.
- Use your SCV's laser gun (right click)
Basic tips:
- Use your SCV to construct defenses against nightly Zerg assaults.
- Scout for resources during the day. Minerals gas and hatcheries are auto-generated.
- Escape or conquer Krydon before you are overwhelmed.
- Once your SCV runs out of HP you have 60 seconds left before or die (you will lose unless there are other players that are not dead) unless SCV is repaired/healed by any means.
Advanced tips:
- Find Protoss outpost and get the probe (it can: teleport across map, build some Protoss structures, the structures can build a powerful Protoss army)
- Kill all Zerg hives and hatcheries on map! (Advantage: fun and no more attack waves)
- Find factory (it can: build MULEs with no timed life to mine minerals).
- Find fusion core (required to build big berthas)

-Added awsome new foliage, jungle bushy things (from elsecaro)
-Removed some uneeded doodads
-Added a way to change game speed, just type the name of the speed you want and voilĂ , make sure yo do not use caps tho.
-Made it so abandoned buildings do not startwith full health.

-Resorce stockpile move speed increased tothat of survivior (I think it is 2 or maybe it is 3, I think 3 but also 2 is posible.)

EXTREME coming soon...
Hi everyone! I am still working on the new update! I should also release the new beta version of SoKRE! I am also working on SoKR at the same time because I have discovered an easy way to disable the EXTREME settings. The EXTREME version will have quite a big difficulty increase, about 2-3 times that of normal to brutal. Think of ultralisks jumping up cliffs, then burrow-charging to your structures, then leaping back to your defences, attacking with more splash damage then reviving once killed. Pretty EXTREME don't you think?
One reason it has not been released is I tried to make the purifier not fire at the ground forever. In trying to fix it I made it worse, it now fires at the ground forever that the 'planet cracker' aoe damage area keeps getting bigger, until it destroys your base when the purifier is on the other side of the map. It is also impossible to kill (because the aoe does like 100 damage a sec). I had to use cheats. I think that was a little too EXTREME, I am sure you would agree!
Just testing a new version of SoKR, the EXTREME version, and trust me, it is hard!

The lack of updates have been because of me being sick and not being able to think of what to change.
New Medium Update! (finally)
Note: This new glitch where the menu button and buttons near it have disappeared was not done by me it was done by blizzard, I know this because the glitch occurred after the update with alarak as a new co-op commander came out. Another reason I know this is older versions of SoKR (I checked up to the ones released over a month ago) also have the same glitch, I will wait until I the 3.7 comes out before I make a big effort in fixing the glitch.

Thanks, Yeah i noticed the science facility glitch too. As implied in my previous sentence, it in not intentional. It is a feature that comes along whenever I implement a new dependency, or in this case, one is updated.
I'm glad you like the new 'crash track' and day/night cycle.
