StarCraft: Ghost
STARCRAFT: GHOST
SYNOPSIS:
An FPS/TPS fan project of Blizzard's famous never-released FPS/TPS game starring Nova! The culmination of a lot of progress so far. A Galaxy Editor project.
I've wanted this game ever since it was advertised in 2004-2006(?) - and since the screenshots of the original Xbox version was released just a couple of days ago, I was galvanised to put together what I've learned and create the first demos for my own SC: Ghost campaign project!
HOW TO PLAY:
WASD is for movement and strafing.
Mouse is to aim. Left click is to shoot.
Features a changeable TPS/FPS mode. Press "TAB" to change between them.
Nova currently has a "Deploy Drone" ability. Press "1" to use it.
Nova has a "Grapple" ability, which will automatically grapple her toward the target. Press "R" to use.
Enjoy!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Nova's Cloaking Ability is not yet functional during this demo.
Nova cannot yet "interact" with things. (Which will also feature.)
Nova will automatically target the closest unit, all you have to do is fire.
UI requires more completion. Nav-map is currently inactive.
Objectives will appear on screen.
Ammo is currently unlimited and no reloads are required.
There is currently no jump, but it will be implemented with other 3D options before the next stage of the level, I believe.
There will be further refinements to the aiming and shooting system, to include things like Precision Mode.
Bear in mind, this is just the first and early alpha, featuring very early implementation - but feedback is still welcome. There will be many changes and improvements along the way.
PROGRESS:
Stay tuned, I should have a demo and showcase out soon. Hope you guys will all like it! ^.^
As of Day 2, it's a totally functioning TPS, with Drone Deployment and Grapple abilities (as advertised on screenshot). I was watching a beautiful Savage Planet preview, and I always wanted to use that Grapple.
As of Day 3, it's now officially an FPS! You can switch modes.
I took a cue, and have just used some 2D images for now.
Day 4. Finished a first demo video - hope you all enjoy!
NOW ON BATTLE.NET!
Day 6: I have officially uploaded an early 0.1 - 0.4 alpha demo to Battle.Net, which is the same level I cover in my playthrough, but I should have resolved the previous issues, if I'm lucky.
(Link at bottom of page.)
I had a number of different ideas (all of which I'll probably implement somewhere), hugely inspired by games like KOTOR, Jedi Knight, as well ones like Unreal 2, Deus Ex and Quake IV - and I ended up deciding to draw inspiration from the most obvious source - the original product!
So this is purely a fan creation of a StarCraft: Ghost game, no ifs and buts, and thus it should look totally familiar in that aspect.
I've learned and picked up a lot over the years since my very first forays into making an FPS, so I hope to bring it all together in a product everyone will enjoy.
BATTLE.NET
Arcade
Should be uploaded to US and Europe regions. (I'd upload it to the Asian regions, but I haven't figured out why it won't let me yet - besides language. C:)

Alternatively, search for it under its current name "SC Ghost (Demo) - "Insurgency".
It's a relatively very short preview of the game, but I hope you enjoy the first look. ^.^

Just informing you about it is probably the best step I can take.

I hope this is still being made!
In reply to MarKreationStudios:
Definitely, I basically never quit a project - it'll just take a while to get to it. Ghost is too fan-favourite (like, in general) to abandon, but I wanted to master more elements before returning to it.
I've got a bit of roadmap in mind, after I finish the first Rogue Force campaign, I'll probably start working on a short project for it.
This look great but when is this Supposed to take place is it like the chanced game or before covet ops i wood like to know
In reply to lorddawnreaver:
Honestly not entirely sure, guy from three years ago (my bad - habits). The story does goes past it, but as for when it starts? I think it either comes after Covert Ops or ties into it. So... either before, during or after.... definitely one of those...
