The Community Pot is a feature added in v1.5. It allows players to donate funds which lets them spawn super expensive, high powered linebusters. These linebusters are only available through the CP. You can also use your personal funds to purchase upgrades for your team.

Every round you get one vote towards any of the four linebusters. Also, for every $1,000 you donate, you get another vote. These votes expire 5 rounds after you donate, but this can be extended by donating again. In this way, you may preserve the votes you get by donating, by donating once every 5 rounds.

The linebuster with the most votes will spawn, as long as there is enough cash in the pot. If there isn't enough money, the next highest linebuster will spawn, provided it has at least 35% of the votes of the first linebuster, and there is enough cash in the pot.

Once a linebuster is spawned, it's cash value will be deducted from the pot, and all votes towards linebusters will be reset (votes gained from donating will be preserved).

The Main Screen can be opened by pressing the '$' button below the Lives Leaderboard. At the top you can see the current amount of cash in the CP. Below that is the Donate button ('D'), and your increase/decrease buttons. The ones on the left increase/decrease the current amount of cash you are preparing to donate to the CP by $1000. The ones on the right increase/decrease by $10,000.
There are two buttons on the bottom which take you to the Spawn Screen and Upgrade Screen, as well as a button in the top right to minimize the Main Screen.

Spawn Screen

The Spawn Screen sports six buttons. The four in the center increase the amount of votes towards their respective linebuster by one, the Back button sends you back to the Main Screen, and the Minimize button in the top right minimizes the Spawn Screen.

Upgrade Screen

The Upgrade Screen sports six buttons as well. The top left button upgrades your team's towers' damage, the top right button upgrades your team's creeps' health, the bottom left button upgrades your team's creeps' armor, the bottom right button buys you a life. All upgrades cost $5,000/level, except for buying a life, that costs $50,000/level.
