Hints/Tips/Notes:
1. Often you will meet obstacles and foes that require your keen senses and initiative. Expect less directions on how to progress, and be the Captain that you are!

Oh, Alex, there is a reason behind the madness.
The observers are annoying and slow you down for no reason whatsoever and the damn immortals are invincible and they kill your marines in 2 shots...Maybe make it easier here and harder later on? Like, add more enemies that are actually enemies, not just illusions and force fields to annoy you and just slow you down for no apparent reason, or enemies that are simply too hard. You need something in-between, like actual zealots or immortals, like in SC2. The OP enemies need to be bosses that you CAN tackle while the ability enemies need to be less present. As in, anything but omnipresent.
Aside from that, everything's well done and in fact, pretty amazing. The terrain, scenes, camera work and dialogue are all very, very well done, and in some cases, better than Blizzard's work. So great job with that! :P
Nice. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I'll keep them in mind for future releases. :)
Just finished the map... like I said before, pretty amazing! I was kind of surprised at how quickly it was over once I actually managed to deal with the Immortals. The force fields felt a bit much until I realized I should snipe the Observers, and they stopped. Anyway the cinematics and dialogue were great, I loved the atmosphere, it was super freaky at the end. Beautifully done. That's the kind of immersion you just can't get in multiplayer. The map was pretty short, but this definitely deserves some attention. Looking forward to the next part!
One minor thing I noticed: The Repair Bots hotkey was E for Marcus and B for everyone else. Being the amateur that I am I would've preferred to have the same hotkey for everyone. That said, I also liked the "healing" & combat mechanics quite a bit.
Yeah, back in our time, we old folks (not then of course) were left scratching our heads how to get to the victory screen - as it should be.
I recall those super impossible CnC missions, Soul Reaver puzzles, and man the first Nintendo Metal Gear. Playing the damn game in japanese added to the fun as well. :)
The mission is really simple once you get how it works. How it works really is simple as well. ;) ;)
Just gave it a spin, my God it's amazing. The terrain is damn near perfect, and I like the setting & mood a lot. I was getting some Mass Effect vibes, in a good way. The Templar guy felt a little Final Fantasy, but hey, he's Protoss, so I guess that's fine. =P
You weren't kidding about saving often, took me a while to get used to the controls and I kept getting wrecked by the zealots & the giant Immortal until the game crashed. :) I wasn't sure what to do there, taking on the Immortal didn't seem like the right idea, so I ran but didn't know where to go. I'll have to do some more exploring. I'll give more feedback after I get the chance to play further. So far, excellent. Also, "expect less directions on how to progress" sounds great in this era of dumbed down gaming.
