SC2 Tactics
I'd like to introduce to everyone my newest project ^_^ [SC2 Tactics]
--------------------
NOTICE: Currently I have a different version of the map published on BNet, the version explained here is still a work in progress and will hopefully be released in the coming months.
--------------------
I got the idea for this map after picking up Fire Emblem Awakening, it was the first tactics style game I've ever actually played and I instantly fell in love with it. I had been working on a map at the time that played in a similar style and got the idea of redoing it in the form of a map that more closely resembled the play style of Fire Emblem (With my own tweaks however.)
Thus SC2 Tactics was born!
Basics
- At the start of the game players will form an army of 12 units from a total array of 33 units.
- Each unit has its own strengths and weaknesses through how it's attributes are divided.
- Units have six different attributes that effect how that unit behaves in combat: Health, Attack, Defense, Luck, Skill and Speed. These attributes are explained within the game through the help menu.
- SC2 Tactics is played as a Turn Based Tactics game.
- Each unit has a set amount of movement actions it may perform during a players turn.
- Each unit also has one attack action, or the attack action is replaced with an ability action.
- The games turn order will begin with Player 1 unless that player is not present.
- Turns are timed at two minutes, while a unit is performing an action the timer will become temporarily paused. A player may end their turn at any time using the End Turn ability at the bottom right of any units command card.
- If at the end of any players turn all of that players opponents (Or the enemy team) is defeated, that player or team is victorious.
- All of a units attributes and it's experience are saved and carry over to your next game, meaning you can level units up to become more powerful and useful in later games.
- Units earn varying amounts of experience through performing actions, a unit that defeats another unit in combat will gain a large amount of experience, units that only participated in combat but did not kill their opponent will gain a small amount of experience.
Unit Abilities
Each unit has two abilities that are unlocked after reaching levels 5 and 10, some units begin the game with an ability unlocked but will not unlock their second ability until level 15.
Combat
Combat between units happens whenever a unit attacks an enemy unit.

Thanks for checking this out and be sure to leave any feedback you have about the map ^_^
Version 0.7 (0.6 skipped due to bug)
Implemented a system that allows for quicker movement actions over longer range.
--------------------Version 0.5
------------------Implemented a Solo Learning Mode for new players, this mode activates automatically if Player 1 is the only player.
------------------I am working on implementing a system that will allow units to move further than just adjacent zones.
Always possible lol, I was also trying to think up a system of units leveling up as they win battles and having it carry over game to game. If the unit dies it basically has its level reset next game.
Would need to make the power difference in a leveled and non leveled not to high though xD otherwise if someone stomps a few people suddenly their units are extremely powerful compared to others lol.
I love Fire Emblem Awakening! Any plans on a linear single player version of this?
The project is currently published onto BNET (US-only if that is still relevant, haven't kept up on if that stuff is still in effect.)
Please post any feedback you have on the map ^_^ (Positive, Negative, Bugs, Blah blah ect.)
