SC2 Reaver Model
This is a model of the Reaver. Read the readme. You are responsible for giving the reaver it's own data. Scarab models can simply be some sort of moving blue glowey explosion. The death animation is temporary. This project will be updated periodically for texture, and animations will be updated when a particle exporter is available.
How to install
- - Press F9 and import all the files provided.
- - Make sure that the .dds files are in Assets/Textures
- - Set whatever unit to use the Reaver.m3 file as a model
- - Scale the reaver in the model tab under Scale Minimum/ Maximum

nvm..... i should have read all of the comments before i posted that....
so.... how do yo attach the textures to the model? just put a link to a good tutorial if you know one or tell me how to do it and i'll do it myself.
are there plans to update this model now the cloak bug is solved in the m3 exporter?

Actually, when I used that reaver, I made it so that the reaver actor's will use the Colossus' death animation, which seemed more suitable than that fainting the model is using. i mean, the reaver IS a machine after all.
Honestly, all we can do now for a death animation is some sort of blue explosion.... Waiting for the explode modifier to be available.

got the whole unit working now including weapon and anything. quite easy
Well, I was able to set up some sort of Scarab system. i'll be using it in my mod (i'll give you guys the credit). anyway, for those who want to see the weapon system, your invited to download the mod, which will be uploaded in a short time.
yea the texture doesn't look good :/ (also the model can have some more planes i think) for now it looks like a supreme commander unit (box thing)
The model location doesn't matter, only the textured. Save your map and then try playing it. Although it shows it as white, if you did everything right, it'll be textured in game.
I think the textures are pretty average, nothing notable at all. Keep in mind, blizzard changed their color scheme since the alpha, no more super bright orange, but dark yellowish brown metal. If you have further problems with the textures, please feel free to use this instead.
The texture in that ingame pic is pretty awful if you ask me...

So I tried putting it in game to see it, but i encountered a problem. where do you have the model for the scarab? and also, what is the weapon you wrote for the reaver? is it something like the Vulture's Spidermine or more like the Brood lord?
