Summary: The world as we know it is being threatened by a terrible evil that knows nothing but malice and seeks to wipe out all life. There is no reason or motive for its actions, thus making it all the more dangerous. Many have stepped forward to combat this frightful foe and fallen; They were the fortunate ones. With earth's defenses shattered, and its forces largely dead or taken over by this evil force, any hope in an organized resistance is gone. Thus we must put our faith in an unorganized resistance. Pick one out of eleven different, unknowing heroes who are the worlds last hope at beating back the abyssal hordes that are set to snuff out the last flickering embers of life as we know it.

I loved the idea behind the Warchasers map of WC3 and hope to create something in a similar vain, and hopefully even better. This is currently a Solo Project, but I may ask for help at a later date (things like triggers, map layout, cinematic, etc.). This naturally does not take place in the SC Universe. For those who do not know what Warchasers is, it is essentially a 4 player co-op map in which each player chooses a hero and makes their way through a dungeon, killing baddies and collecting items.

Meet the Heroes, a one line summary:

• The Commando- A dedicated killer who loves his job and does it well.
• The Special Operative- A man of few words, and prodigious skill.
• The Psychotic- He knew it was coming and is ready to greet the Visitors with a couple of bombs and two fists full of hot lead.
• The Synthetic Lifeform- A perfect unification of machinery and biology.
• The Escaped Experiment- A godforsaken experiment on the loose.
• The Xenoform- A cunning and violent hunter that seeks its ultimate pray.
• The Mobile Weapon Platform- An embodiment of the military industrial complexes dream come true.
• The Bionic Assassin- A shady individual whose inhumanly movements are as indiscernible as his or her identity.
• The Psionic- The living pinnacle of human psionic potential.
• The Machinist- A man who loves his machines... maybe a little too much.
• The Tactical Combat Drone- The latest in cutting edge Tactical AI mixed with the latest combat drones.
