Rise of the Reapers

Rise of the Reapers is a custom game I am currently working toward. The theme will revolve around the Mass Effect Trilogy focusing mainly on the Reapers, Humans, and a possibility of one or more of the following races (Turians, Salarians, Krogen, or Quarians; The possibility still exist to mix a majority of citadel species into one race). These Races will replace the Terran, Protoss, and Zerg races. Rise of the Reapers is no ordinary custom however. There will be no tug of war style, hero arena style, or scenario involved. These Mass Effect races will be shifted and grafted into melee ladder style races complete with their own unique play styles, strategies, and varied macro perks.

Rise of the Reapers In order for this custom to be possible I will need help. In the past I have completed a major race, The Infested, in my custom Inordinate Violence; However, this is well beyond my capability to make and utilize models. I will need the help of the community of Modelers, Terrain specialist, and concept drivers as well as a multitude of testers. I can and will do most of the work in terms of triggers, data, and organization in terms of balance, costs, and other key features that come with making new races. This task will be monumental for one person to do, but even if I have to carry out alone I shall eventually do so. In order to undertake this complex ordeal I will need information that only the community can provide.

I need programs: 1. I need the models - Any help would be greatly appreciated. Aside from that I need to know what programs can help me make and upload different units and structures. - With almost no knowledge of how to do this I will have to acquire extensive knowledge with actors, this process will be hastened quickly with a team. 2. I need a map to act as a memorable site for mass effect fans - I can try to do this myself but I fear that I am immensely insufficient at the task. - This map will either have to look similar to a famous battleground fought in the mass effect universe or be a completely new addition that fits the role. 3. I need help with the concepts - I am only one man, I cannot completely grasp every need and every aspect of all the features involved with this project. - That said I will need people that can help piece together different ideas for balance, utilities, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and possible strategies. 4. Finally I will need a large variety of testers - Luckily there are enormous amounts of players of all skill in ladder that are often more than willing to help, but preliminary testing will be necessary. - With a large cooperative effort I intend to make at least three very unique very well done races that can be used to battle in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, and FFA

Limitations Time is always a limiting factor and this project, I have no illusions, will take a considerable amount of time. I intend for this custom to shake the foundations of human capacity to create something that drags the attention of even the master league players with overwhelming innovation and in the process make a custom that reaches the top of the arcade that isn't a strange custom, Dota style custom, or tug of war. Even ladder players like to have fun.

If nothing else I will do this on my own. I do need information however, any amount goes a long way to making this custom possible. As great minds always say, Knowledge is powerful.

You will have the privilege to name a unit, ability, or structure (within reason). Beyond that I have no money to hire anyone nor can I, This project is purely non profit and volunteer driven
