RISK: Rise Of Empires
Rise of Empires was originally made on Warcraft 3 by King Leopold. Rise of Empires is a joint venture between Hellya, Milfeus and Shock. The project has reached patch .05 and is streamlined for beta testing and public release by the end of February 2011, expected sooner.
Gameplay Premise:
Start at a random point on the map with a small army of either Protoss, Zerg or Terran units. The goal of the game is to eliminate all other rival heros for supremacy of the region and the establishment of an empire.
Bases will not be owned at the beginning of the game. Your army is randomly placed on the map and it is up to you to build your Empire, not inherit it. These vassals you will be accumulating will not be accustomed to being indentured and will fight back, as you will expect them to treat your enemies when they are under your heel. Bases will give off a concussive attack, slowing enemy units. Use that to your advantage while defending with a lesser force.
Capture vassal bases to collect taxes and amass an army to fend off the vicious attacks of your neighbors. Control a region to build a capital and to spawn a bonus unit. Select one or all three base types to build your armies with, your units are your choice, everytime.
A captured base is 20 minerals per 1:30, bases can be upgraded twice. Each base upgrade grants +5 in minerals and new unit choices, progressively stronger and more expensive.
Defeating rival heros will result in their demise, but beware, if your opponent is strong enough to have his own capital, he can simply choose an heir to his defeated avatar (he can respawn his hero). When a rival has formed such a strong following, it too must be burnt to the ground before you can consider him vanquished.

- Three upgradeable base types, terran, zerg, and protoss.
- Your starting army and hero will be randomized.
- 60 Base Locations- with alot of space to add new ones.
- Each game, base locations will remain in the same place, the base type however will be random. All the same points just random which one of three bases will be at each location.
- 11 regions, owning a region will result in a bonus unit being spawned at the income timer, or some balanced variation of that concept.
- Interested in helping us test it? The map is being streamlined for release by the end of February, if not sooner. (We have aggressive ideas for an earlier release in our heads but testing will be extensive).
Uploaded on Eu and NA currently EU has the most recent update. Terrain got a major facelift and really looks detailed and amazing.

Can you please give a Overview of the Map? And i would like to see more of the Terrain that you made in "More Terrain" bottom Right, the blueish-protoss-theme. (:
