Revolver Ship
This vessel is built around a revolver mechanism using a large main weapon that runs most of the length of the ship. While the actual viability of its function and design are very questionable, it is at least interesting. This model was created using solidworks and ported into rhinoceros for the finishing of the deckhouse, and then ported again into 3dsMax for texturing, bounding, attachments and particle emitters. NinToxicated's M3 importer/exporter was used, and I thank him again for providing a valuable asset for people interested in creating custom models.
Uses in-game textures (bunker, barracks, and factory) No wireframe No Portrait Death animation in the works
When using the primary attack animation, set it's blend out time under actors/events to zero. The attack is not "looping" because a new cylinder is presented to barrel, and if blend is activate, it will rotate back to the used cylinder.
Please give feedback/recommendations so I can improve the model!
how do i download it? http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/revolver-ship/
i meant to post this awhile ago but i found it.
I'm not sure how import editor establishes the hierarchies that are used in the data editor, but this model appears outside of assets in all of my test downloads. If you collapse +assets while browsing through models, it should appear below it as Revolver_T14.m3. Since this is a preliminary release and I intend to make changes, the 14 is keeping track of how many revisions I have performed so far (Thus far it has been all internal).
Just in case, I will explain the proper .m3 import procedure. Open SCII Editor Open importer Find wherever you saved the .m3 to, check the box next to it, and hit ok. SAVE (The text will turn from green to black) Open data->Models Create New or Replace an exisiting, and double click the models field Collapse +Assets Revolver_T14.m3 should be in that screen, it is not in any subfolders.
cant find it in map where is it???
I like the detail on this one. This model can also be attached to a gun, to make an impressive looking cannon.
