Rebel Whimper demo
This project will hold the demo maps and assets for After the End's first campaign, the terran Rebel Whimper.
Rebel Whimper is a terran campaign set in the After the End series. After the End intends to incorporate RPG elements and branching story choices with RTS gameplay, as well as exploring the incredible Starcraft universe. After the End is set several years after Amon's defeat during the events of Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void, and will feature a diverse cast of interesting characters as they make their mark on the Fringe Regions of the Koprulu Sector.
Currently, this project is in extremely early alpha phase and consists of a single demo map (Mission 01 of Rebel Whimper, Fraying Ends). Please note that map credits have not yet been properly attributed and it uses assets from a great many talented modders here on SC2Mapster. This will not be the case in future releases.
First section:
Cannot build refinery on geyser in base. Cannot go up into top left area of region, preventing access to first biomass with the hydra den, and the third lore chip.
Second section:
Because going to the ultralisk immediately sends you into third section, perhaps block off that path, until you've been to the other two areas of the section, as if you rush to the ultralisk carcass, it locks you out of the second biomass and the fourth lore chip.
Third section:
Incredibly boring, only tempered by the fact that it wasn't a terribly long wait. Perhaps have more nyduses spawn, and have the low ground nyduses be unkillable, so as to offer a perpetual challenge for the section.
Further, the hero ghost, had a perpetual +1000 armour from an attribute called "cutscene armor". Clearly meant to not be in play after the cutscene, but it made the section's objective to keep him alive trivial. It would be impossible to lose him in that condition.
