Here's my early version of Tower Defense map. At the moment you can build only few things like wall, 1 tower, base, probes. Your main builder is a unit that can build, gather resources and serve as base for your probes.
Cool thing is that you don't get minerals from killing mobs. You have to gather them on your own by building probes and/or gather yourself. You are walking base to where minerals can be gathered to. You can also build small bases on the map for shorted gathering way.

Can't tell which wave, one of the later ones. However, that was definitely not the issue, they mobs never reached that far. This was torwards the end of my maze and the critters were killed long before that.

The banelings killing things hmm. On what wave this happen? Propably some units are too big and baneling didnt have wait to get to the end maybe
I mazed around and after a fairly long maze the banelings started killing my buildings every so often. You should use a better system to figure out if there is blockage or not. IIRC someone even developed one that makes it impossible to build if there is blockage.
Also, I don't really get the name, what's so puzzle about it?

Its very playable now :) Even single player.

I will try to make not buildable areas where regions of those ending places are. And will start adding new towers.
I'm thinking to leave 1 tower for Maker and to be able to upgrade it to few others.
For example:
Auto-turret -> Lighting Tower(single target)
Auto-turret -> Frost Tower(aoe slowing effect)
Auto-turret -> Fire Tower(splash damage)
Auto-turret -> Poison Tower(dot)
Auto-turret -> Doom Tower(with all above effects) - require to have at least 1 of each towers above
Each of those towers will have their own upgrades/morphs like:
Oh just make it clear where the end of the path is, my stuff kept getting destroyed by the Banelings (I made a wall around the end of the path with one opening).
With this baneling its crazzy cause I had this bug also. Donno why they cant find the path sometimes. Maybe I will have to do something about their sight range or something.
What did you mean "make it clearer around the end of the patch"?
More turret types would be awesome. Same with turret upgrades/levels. Make it clearer around the end of the path cause I kept having the Banelings blow up my buildings when I wasn't blocking anything and though I was out of range. Maybe make it so probes are grounded so there is more strategy to mining (I was getting crazy amounts of minerals early on)?
Just some ideas.
Guys if you like my map, you can post some ideas for balance or something cause now its totally unbalanced.

in v1.1 the "anti-wall-banelings" taking lifes and lead to loose immediately :/
