Based on the warcraft 3 map Pictionary by Faith The Panda.
In this map you have to guess out what is the other player drawing.
You get 1 point if somebody finds out your picture and the person who finds it out gets 2 point
You can vote on point limit and painting time limit and you can also set many things on your paint brush.
If you are playing alone, than you have limitless time to make a nice picture!
Now with fully working ranking system and random words!
On EU its called: pictionary
On NA its called: paintionary

Posted Mar 21, 2013yeah team and other modes was planned, but I am lazy to implement.
But the game is competitive! You get 2 points for finding out the draw and 1 point for drawing it, if they found it out. If I wouldnt give point for the drawer then everybody would make pictures, thats impossible to find out, so the other players wouldnt get points for that. Also I didnt play any game where you would won just by drawing.... I think the current score system is perfect for FFA, though people play it for fun usually not for winning.

Posted Mar 20, 2013Hey dude! I discovered this map today and it's pretty funny, but I think there's an important thing you must do, or maybe I didnt know how to play in that way... The game is not competitive, u get points when people recognice your draw, so I do a very easy draw like a dog and I'm going to get that point easy. Why you dont try to do this: - 2 Teams, in each round a team say to a player from the other team what he has to draw, and this player team has to recognice the draw to get the point for the team. The drawer player is changing each round.

Posted Jan 29, 2011xSun, yeah I dont like anti-semitic stuff too, However I am not planning to add kick system just yet, even if its vote kick system it still can be abused. Currently I am working on ability to get random words. At start it will be based on some words given by me.... But I also plan to add a rating system, with this rating system you will be able to rate the last draw, If a draw rated over 3+ (5 the max) than the picture name will be saved into all player's bank and at each game the bank's of the players will be mixed... Also the average ratings of player pictures will be stored and players under 2 rating wont be able to rate. I hope this will make the game more "clean". But if even this wont make people to behave well, than I will add vote kick.
I am not sure saving pictures is even possible to make, but if it will be done, people will save it for them self (and they will be able to load it if they want in their turn), it wont be saved into the map (thats not possible...).

Posted Jan 29, 2011Hi Goa, thanks for this awesome map, I had a lot of fun with it. It's on page 3 or so right now on EU, let's hope it stays there. :)
I would strongly vote for a kick option for the host. But if you can't be convinced to add one, maybe there is an option to integrate some kind of word filter? Because while I have not really a problem with all those penis- and boobs-painters, I have quite a big one with those who paint anti-semitic and nazi-glorifying pictures. Plz reconsider the kick option.
In addition I'd like to suggest that instead of just let the player save their image it has to be upvoted first by the others. Like in at the end of the game the three best pictures are elected and saved, but if they get flagged as not good enough or inappropriate in the future they get removed from the random function.
Oh, and the pointing system is fine.

Posted Jan 26, 2011Even if I add slow detection it would be still exploitable. I dont think I will ever add more complex pointing system than the current one.
what you mean under that? But if I understand you correctly and it will happen many times which I doubt I can still add kick vote.

Posted Jan 26, 2011You could easily make it so that if someone obviously paints too slowly, it is detected.
Also your current system is also easily exploitable. You can simply not draw anything and nobody can't kick you, but it defeats purpose of map.

Also now in the last 30 sec you get help to find out the name of the picture.

Posted Jan 25, 2011I have an suggestion.
Longer players keep guessing word, it should award more points for guy who is drawing. But if guy who is drawing does not manage to make others guess in time, he does not get points.
That way you don't want others to guess your word too soon but still make it so that others can guess it right.
Let's say there is five seconds left to guess, someone finally guesses word, now as there is only five seconds left, he and you gets jackpot of points. :)
